We are very glad to have Nightwish fans from all over the world join us here. We have created a short "how to" on how to become a registered member.
Click the "Register" button beneath the Nightwish USA logo on the forum.
Enter a username in the first white box.
Enter a password in the next box. It can be anything you like, letters and numbers but no spaces.
In the next box enter your password again.
Next you will enter your valid email address. This is important that you enter a valid email address as you will be sent an activation key to have your account activated.
Enter your email one more time to ensure it's correct.
Enter your correct birthday. Once your account has been created, the birthday cannot be changed. This can be hidden, but is needed to comply with US law.
Select your gender from the drop down box.
Click "Play" to have the Captcha revealed. Type the answer exactly as it is shown in the "Your Answer" box. If you are unable to read the captcha, click the arrow buttons to have it refresh and show you a different one.
Make sure to select "I agree" by clicking the button beside it.
Click "Create Account."
You will then be taken to a different screen to activate your account. Check your email for the information sent. It might have been sent to your spam folder, depending on your email provider. The sender should be from Proboards, the subject "Account created:(the username you chose)"
In that email you will have your activation key. You can either copy the key and paste it on the forum page you were directed to or click the link in your email to have your account activated. If you click the link, it should automatically fill in the activation key box on the forum. You will just need to click the "Activate Account" button.
Once that is done, you should be logged in and ready to post on the forum. If it did not log you in automatically, click Login beneath the Nightwish USA banner, enter the Username and password you chose, then click login to be able to make posts on the forum.
